BILBAO FOR ALL

ONLY ONE HOUR FROM SAN SEBASTIAN

There are plenty of reasons to get to know Bilbao. With the Guggenheim Museum celebrating its 20th birthday in 2017 and the World’s 50 Best Restaurants Awards (the “Oscars of eating”) landing here in 2018, Bilbao is having its moment. Bilbao has also been named European City of the Year at the 2018 Urbanism Awards being the best example of the wholesale transformation of a former industrial city – not just physically, but socially, economically and culturally.

The Guggenheim Museum is of course one of the main highlights for any visitor to Bilbao. This bustling city has become an international art hotspot thanks to Frank Gerhy´s titanium masterpiece. The museum is fully accessible and wheelchair friendly, except for its High Gallery.

Bilbao is an international reference in terms of urban transformation, offering different interesting, attractive proposals in architecture, design and gastronomy.

  • Pasamos unos días de la mano de estos profesionales y fue increíble. Conocen muy bien la zona y saben analizar las necesidades de cada uno. Recomendable 100%. Repetiremos sin dudarlo.

  • Fantastic service from Bask For All, who have arranged two very successful and memorable trips to San Sebastian for me, in addition to Andorra and Barcelona. They go 'above and beyond' in their level of service and I would thoroughly recommend them, particularly for travellers with disabilities.

  • We had a private wheelchair tour of parts of Northern Spain. Our guides were knowledgeable, fun, helpful and genuinely caring. They are highly recommended for a tour.

  • We spent 4 nights and 3 days in the wonderful Basque Country of Spain and France during September 2019. Our touring was arranged by Asier Landa Lopez of Bask For All. We could not have asked for better service and a more attentive guide than Asier. He had arranged for my mobility scooter to be at our hotel on the day of arrival, came to meet and review our itinerary that day and give us directions to the fabulous restaurant he had booked for us for that first night. We spent the next three days touring beautiful San Sebastián, Bilbao and Biarritz. Asier and his assistants were superb guides and companions throughout, knowledgeable of the areas sites, history and gastronomic delights. He even accompanied me to my hairdresser and walked us back to the hotel after my appointment. Asier also came to our hotel on the morning that we were scheduled to depart and gave us a delightful momento of our all too brief stay.
I have no hesitation in recommending Asier to anybody intending to visit this spectacular part of Spain, particularly if, like me, they have mobility restrictions.

  • 5 star ratingMust do!!! This was amazing!!! If you like white wine must do. The driver picks you up from your hotel/Airbnb, drives you to this beautiful fishing village Getaria. The vineyard is family owned, small and quaint, very friendly owners. They make two types of crisp white wine, which I would have shipped home but it’s too expensive to America. After the wine tasting we went to a restaurant on the water. I’m not a fish person, but this was literally the freshest fish ever!! And lunch is paid for as part of your tour. This was one of my favorite things I did on my two week trip to Europe.
Tour guide was Andoni, very friendly and personable. Office staff reached out to me before and after tour on WhatsApp to confirm details and to make sure everything was good. Highly recommend this tour!!
